In 1980, Henry Turley purchased The Gilmore, an apartment building constructed in the 1930s. Sitting at the intersection of Madison and McLean, in the vibrant heart of Midtown, the location is simply too good to pass up. Overton Park, the Memphis Zoo, Brooks Museum, Memphis College of Art, Studio on the Square, and some of the area’s best bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. The building has largely been kept as it was, including built-in armoires and bookshelves, as well as hardwood and terrazzo floors. The Gilmore offers one and two bedroom floor plans.
